The Wild Update will bring major changes to Minecraft. New mobs, bosses, biomes, and many other changes will be made to Minecraft. Frogs are one of the most anticipated additions.
To expand the mob roster, they will be joined by the Allay and fireflies Warden. Although frogs aren't the main focus of this Minecraft update, they are very popular. Here are the facts so far.
Once frogs are added to the game's roster they will become a peaceful mob. They will also be the first cold-blooded animal in the game's past. In the 1.19 update, tadpoles will be made into frogs.
These frogs come in many colors. The color will depend on the biome it grows from a Tadpole. After the Minecraft 1.19 update, these biomes will spawn Frogs.
Each color of frog is going to be different. Mojang has not yet revealed what these behaviors will be.
In Minecraft 1.19, the Mangrove Swamp biome was introduced. It will serve as the main spawning location for frogs or tadpoles. They will use lily pads as a jumping platform. They will also eat fireflies, and they will sit on dripleaves. However, the dripleaves are not strong enough to support their weight.
Frogs can jump three blocks high, and they take 10 hearts less damage to other mobs. Frogs may occasionally make a croaking noise and swell their throat.
Two frogs are fed the same item, but they enter love mode (signified with hearts), which causes one of them to become pregnant.
The frog will search for a tile of water with one block above it and lay eggs. These eggs will hatch into tadpoles, which then turn into full-grown frogs.
Frogs are very good at attacking mobs. Frogs will eat fireflies, and they'll attack slimes and magma cubes. After being killed by a frog, slimes will release slime balls.
Frogs, similar to goats or axolotls in Minecraft 1.17 update aren't the most exciting addition in Minecraft 1.19 update. However, players are still excited about them.
The Wild Update is currently not scheduled. It will be released on a loose date of "2022".
