It's official. Black Friday sales are now open. S remain hard to come by, with supply chain issues bottlenecking production, you can still score plenty of sales on games, next-gen accessories and gaming peripherals. Some of this year's most popular releases are already on sale ahead of the big day. This includes a surprise turnout by Nintendo who is offering some of its best-selling Switch games at the lowest prices. We've compiled the best Black Friday deals this year for gamers looking to gift their loved ones (or themselves, because they deserve it).
Three console exclusives are available to anyone who's lucky enough to have a PS5 and can afford it. At most major retailers and on the PlayStation Store, you can buy "Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart” for $50 and "Demon's Souls” for $40. Walmart sells "Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart" for $43, if you are brave enough to take on Housemarque's horror-roguelike "Returnal", which retails at $43. Target and GameStop have several 2021 games on sale at as low as 60% off. "Far Cry 6", "Life is Strange: True Colors," and "Far Cry 6," are just two examples. Amazon offers "Deathloop", "Guardians of the Galaxy", and more for $25.
Few deals this year offer more bang than Nintendo's Mario Kart Bundle. You get a Switch console and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $299. This is the same price as a standard Switch. The bundle is available at GameStop and Target, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or Target.

Nintendo has reduced a number of Switch games to $60 to $40 at the same retailers. This includes popular titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and "Paper Mario: The Origami King." Also, "Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit", which uses AR tech and an actual RC car to bring the Mario Kart experience to life, is 40% off.
"Ring Fit Adventure," also known as. The spiritual successor to "Wii Fit," the Switch's original game, is now on sale at Best Buy, Target and GameStop for $54.99, as opposed to $79.99. You complete real-world exercises to overcome enemies and gain experience. The device records your movements with a leg strap, resistance ring and Joy-Con controllers. These were hard to find in the early days after the pandemic, so now is the perfect time to get the experience.
The latest three Assassin's Creed games, Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins, are available for $48. This bundle is offered by the Xbox Games Store and PlayStation Store. It offers a 70% discount. Bundles of classic games franchises are also available. S, which includes "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary," "Halo 2: Anniversary," "Halo 3" and "Halo 4." "Mass Effect Legendary Edition," a compilation of the first three games in Bioware's popular sci-fi RPG series, is half off ($25) at GameStop and Walmart. Mass Effect was a missed opportunity for me, so I have been eyeing the revamped trilogy.
